Freya’s natural eye for colour and interpreting a client’s vision established a demand for her to create bespoke paint colours for interior decorators, architects, corporates and private clients. As wall space is one of the largest contributors to an interior or exterior space, finding the right colour is important. A coat of paint, in the right colour, can also be the most efficient way to renovate a building, room, kitchen or piece of furniture. Finding and choosing a colour can be a difficult task, especially when the colours from a chart don’t always achieve the expected or desired results. Picking the appropriate colour creates the best shell for interior schemes and brings it all together to achieve a beautiful end result. Freya formulates unique colours that enhance their intended environment. View portfolio here…
How It Works
Freya mixes custom paint colours for clients to best suit their interior design objectives and location. These colours are formulated using Plascon paint products and pigments. They are not computer generated, colour-chart colours.
A colour consultation with Freya would involve an initial meeting on site to ascertain what is required and to look at the architecture and the play of light. Quality of light plays an important role in the mixing of a colour. After collecting samples of the flooring, fabrics and anything else of importance Freya then designs and formulates the colours in her studio. She supplies a sample to the client of an A4 brush-out and a 250ml tub of paint. Once the colours have been finalised she provides formulas, for the colours, that can then be used for the mixing of the bulk paint.
